Transformative Workshops and Retreats

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” Albert Einstein

Our “rational” minds, operating contentedly in our own world, can easily cast away intuitive feelings which are not congruent with the worldview it lives in.  Caged inside of the “servant” mind, the rational mind can shield us from our inner knowing. (This is how the ego gets a bad rap.) The necessary ego, the necessary rational mind, allows us easy navigation through this human constructed system called our reality.   This is how we forget to listen to our deeper wisdom.

How do we step away from the faithful servant to see new perspectives, expand our worldview, to listen? The intuitive mind is the connection to the divine.  The intuitive mind is a “sacred gift”.

How do we open it?

Transformational workshops and retreats are safe spaces to bear witness to collective healing. Experiences are designed to guide us below our all-knowing conscious selves into our deep being to discover what is holding us back.   Sessions allow time for integration so that we may reflect on our insights gained and better know how we can take home our newly discovered gems of wisdom.

“Julia is clearly very knowledgeable about the purposes and facilitation processes for each of the activities we completed. She has a very gentle, calm, and spiritual manner. Her mirroring and reflection skills were awesome as she was able to ask questions to help us dig deeper into the meaning of our experiences. I felt safe, calm, nurtured, and loved throughout.”

Spring Women’s Moon Circle

April 8 and 23, May 7 and 23, 2024
6:00 - 7:30

Many spiritual traditions have integrated the power of the moon into their practices. Here at Trillium Healing Arts, we will follow the moon phases as we set our intentions, release that which is blocking our progress and honor our journeys.

New moon time is the time of setting intention and to go within for introspection. As the moon becomes full, shining light on our lives, we are given the opportunity to see that which does not serve us, clearly see our path, and celebrate our accomplishments.

Moon Circles are held outdoors around the fire circle and in the yurt if weather is inclement.
Participation in all circles is recommended in order to get the most out of the circle.

Intention Setting Yurtshop

A Workshop in Discovering the Heart
in order to Manifest our Dreams

3 Saturdays, January 13-27,  2024
10am-12pm
$150

Intention is a focus on a way of being in the ever-changing present moment which seeps into every aspect of our lives.  Clear intention allows us to let go of what we think we want, be open to what may come, and to notice opportunities outside of the picture the unexamined ego paints.

We live in a face paced, success driven society which measures itself through progress, money and busyness.  Because of this, we often get lost in accomplishing our goals and refocusing on the next goal when the exuberance of victory fades.

But, has all of this gotten us any closer to the feelings
of satisfaction our hearts yearn for?

Setting intention is not easy.  It requires soul searching.  It requires that we understand the ego’s motivations and habitual ways of thinking which shape how we see ourselves and respond to our world.  Paraphrasing shaman Sandra Ingerman, “Are you looking at your life through the lens of an authority figure or society, or are you looking through your soul?”

We will experience shamanic journeying, guided meditations, and other forms of  self discovery in this workshop to dip below the ego’s grasp and discover our intuitive selves. When we gain an understanding of how the rational mind may be short sighted or narrow minded we can set intentions true to our hearts.

Deep healing through journeying within

New possibilities in how we perceive ourselves in relation to our world emerge from a place of not knowing.
